Google Postmaster Tools

Learn how and why you should set up Google Postmaster Tools.

Without Google Postmaster Tools, you will lack valuable insight into your reputation with Gmail. Unlike other Inbox Providers, Gmail does not directly tell you who complained or reported your emails as spam. Instead, you can view your "Spam Rate" in Google Postmaster Tools. Too many complaints can lead to poor Email Deliverability.

Gmail is the largest Inbox Provider in the world, so any additional insights we are able to gain as Email Senders should be taken advantage of.

If your emails are landing in Gmail spam folders, Google Postmaster Tools may offer insight.

The Spam Rate represents a percentage of your mail volume that is actively being reported as spam on a given date by Gmail recipients.

Google States "Keep spam rates reported in Postmaster Tools below 0.10% and avoid ever reaching a spam rate of 0.30% or higher." in their Email Sender Guidelines
